In this video I cover assembling pre cut 10 frame hive body deeps I picked up from Mann Lake during a summer sale.
For assembly I used Titebond 3 glue, 1-1/2in 18-Gauge Crown Staples, 8 36in heavy duty F-clamp’s which have a 600lbs clamping force each. I follow up with semi gloss white KILZ complete coat Interior/Exterior Paint and Primer in One.
In the past I used 3/4in pipe clamps but find them cumbersome. Gorilla glue is also a good choice if only building a couple but I find it takes longer due to the pre moistening requirement and cleaning up the ooze out after it dries.
I go over the parts of a 10 frame Langstroth bee hive and which parts to paint and which parts not to paint.
This one died and wanted to see what it was made of.

I weld a stand for my Central Machinery/Harbor Freight 30 in. Capacity Shear, Press Brake, and Slip Roll. I than shorten it 10 inches. Lots of fun and tig welding on this project.
